Regatta 1 of the 2026/27 season is officially in our wake! And what a way to kick off the season! 

The team successfully shook out the racing cobwebs and got back into race mode on a beautiful spring day... minus the pesky flies! From the moment we arrived, the energy was high, spirits were even higher, and everyone was keen to get on the water and see what we can achieve as a team season.

Our Mixed crews raced hard all day and delivered some fantastic results.

💜 Mixed Purple

Race 1: 1st place - 2:09.39

Race 2: 1st place - 2:09.41

Overall: 2nd place - 2:07.36

💜 Mixed Rebels

Race 1: 5th place - 2:27.06

Race 2: 5th place - 2:21.85

💜Women's crew absolutely paddled their hearts out. With only 17 paddlers, the team faced more than its fair share of challenges. But they determined to have a good race and they did！

This regatta we dusted off the racing cobwebs, switched our race brains back on, and found our supersonic speed for the season.

Most importantly, we got back out on the water together as a team, enjoyed the day, and have loads of fun!
