What we carry on
You should see the scene of giving out the medals and fell the true spirit of the family and friendship in the Sloths crews which developed from every training sessions, every race, every finish line we crossed together.
It's not just about the medals, it's about the bonds that carries us all the way here.
Here's our head coach Christopher Alexandrou again:
“Excellent work yesterday crews. Very tough day of racing and it was great to see so many new Sloths racing. The Club is very much in a building phase at the moment which means there is a wide gulf of experience and enthusiasm across the Club. I’ll have to more to say on the way forward during the week.”
And Yes, on the Monday after the races, we were back to training.
Coaching for the corporates
There are so many Sloths members volunteered for the corporate teams including training, and drumming, sweeping on the racing day (Sunday).
One of the corporate paddlers wrote:"I am sharing my deep gratitude! This was one of the best experiences of my life! And my kids were super proud too!”
And Sloths is looking forward to welcome decent numbers of the new passionate paddlers on our open day from the corporate teams we coached.
What a year of the Horse! Let's take the spirit of Dragon 龙 and Horse 马精神 on through 2026.
